No fluff, right to the point with nice examples.
Really great book on JQuery. If you know basic html and want to take your web design skills to next level, JQuery should be your next step.
This book starts with simple examples and then gives dozens of tips that explain not just how to do stuff in JQuery but the reasons why, which will improve your skills greatly.
I have read other books on Jquery (the missing manuals which I didnt like so much, the pocket reference which is very helpful, and headfirst series which was also good) and I believe this book increased my skill level the most.
this book rather than alone speaking about the steps, gives the details of internals of DOM and how to make use of them using jQuery, the various ways to access the DOM elements etc. Graphical representation is awesome and expect some more
A great book of some things you can do in jquery, I knew some of them but also the "behind the scenes" stuff, relating to why objects behave the way they do, is also really useful.
Before this book I've been reading the "Web Application with Python3." which uses the jQuery and jQuery UI. And I have not understand what they mean. This book gave me some knowledge to understand the basic concept and how to use them!!!
This is a very good resource to have on the developer's shelf. Well explained examples provide the JavaScript programmer a lot to work with. Can't beat the value!
Excellent for the beginner and expert. A bit of previous knowledge will be helpful, but if you have a good understanding of jQuery this a great reference when stuck on a pesky little problem that your memory fails you on. I have had it only a few days and have used it has a quick reference a number of times. A desk side must for a front-end dev in my opinion.
